Since the start of the millennium consumer buying behaviour has been changing rapidly. At LeadFabric we realized quite early how this was also going to impact the B2B marketing & sales workplace.
We, as consumers, but also as professional buyers, go through various phases whilst buying. We expect correct and relevant information at every stage of the journey. For B2B suppliers this is quite challenging to deliver as their information exchange is more complex and deals with more stakeholders than in the consumer world
For B2B organizations DIGITAL ENGAGEMENT is part of the solution. It's worth noticing that not just the digital delivery method matters here but also the ability to automate the heavy lifting and personalisation efforts. But there's more.
We also need to look at how both marketing and sales need to plan, execute and manage their activities. How they interoperate. It's about creating ALIGNMENT and the set up of new business processes, often powered through automation.
Yet, automation does not create value automatically. Internal alignment will only generate the desired economic value when it results into a FRICTIONLESS buying experience for our target accounts and buyers.

For example, we started working with Marketo and Eloqua marketing automation many years before anyone else in the region saw the opportunity.
Both solutions were later acquired by respectively Adobe and Oracle which further fueled demand for experienced and skilled users.

We believe that whoever is offering agile transformation solutions, needs to apply the same principles for its own business.
For that reason LeadFabric is expanding its structure based on organizational 'cells'; semi-autonomously operating teams focusing on a specific product and market.
It’s a new innovative way of running a business away from the static multi-level functional organization chart.
Each member will participate actively in the development of the cell, which in turn allows them to align their personal career ambitions with the company.
While LeadFabric offers a wide array of solutions, another important part of its offering is transferring its knowledge.
In traditional as well as modern consultancy organizations, the currency that is used to exchange this knowledge is based on utilization.
At LeadFabric we measure performance based on not just the utilization rate but also its value versus cost.
Both are the foundations of the way we aim to optimize profit.
The cell employees are empowered to help make the right decisions on where to go and their income has next to a highly competitive fixed component, also additional meritocratic layers based on profit sharing principles.
Minimum 20% of every team member's time can be allocated to non-core workload. This allows team members to work in team on development and innovation.
The goal is a twofold. First expand the horizon of the employee, and secondly, develop intellectual property for the company or the business cell that can be sold at fixed rates.
The ultimate goal is to blend the fixed rate offerings with the utilization based consultancy, with the goal to optimize profit.
LeadFabric pledges to each of its employees to invest a yearly education talent management budget.
Together with the line manager and HR, a customized plan is developed that combines technical skill development as well as softskill education.

In June 2021, we split the company into smaller teams and sent them off to Ibiza for an entire week to work from there.
